Remember Afghanistan?

As I've ruminated on the news of uprisings and reports that (as always) no options will be "off the table" as government leaders and politicians wring their hands over what to do to protect national interests from public unrest and violence in other countries, I've also thought about how I've heard virtually nothing in the news regarding our ongoing War in Afghanistan. (10 YEARS) The poll results below are from December, but they appear to be the most recent available. How telling (in more ways than one.)

There is an apparently overwhelming need to install a pipeline to drain the Caspian Basin oil reserves. Who was that cartoon character "Osama binWho?" Now, is there any chance that would be the "Centralized Distribution Network?" Nah! Energy can't rule the USA! This is not an issue of discussion that deserves to allow credibility for those mantras "freedom," "democracy," "they hate us for our freedoms," and the autosuggestion therein.
