Subtler Forum Rule Violations Thread

Before I launch into this, W.E.B could you explain why the cut off is 2005, and not 2001? It's not because you realised that the Democrats circa the 107th (when they controlled the Senate) and 108th Congress filibustered and/or stalled 10 judicial nominees?

Talking about other people (i.e. what they "realised") is against forum rules. On a more substantive note: you are asking me if I used a dishonest tactic, which is unacceptable to me. It would have been more appropriate to simply ask why the cut off is 2005 and not 2001 without the "realised" bit.

BTW in the time it took me to formulate the above reply the forum logged me out and then deleted my post when I logged back in. That might be one of the reasons for the number of active posters.
