    The Obama-O'Reilly Super Bowl Interview

Heavily hyped, perhaps heavily watched by the Super Bowl audience. Here it is:

"When I entered Republican politics during an earlier period of malaise, in the late seventies and early eighties, the movement got most of the big questions -- crime, inflation, the Cold War -- right. This time, the party is getting the big questions disastrously wrong."

"In the aftershock of 2008, large numbers of Americans feel exploited and abused. Rather than workable solutions, my party is offering low taxes for the currently rich and high spending for the currently old, to be followed by who-knows-what and who-the-hell-cares. This isn't conservatism; it's a going-out-of-business sale for the baby-boom generation."

"This is just ridiculous. I never thought as an economist I would have to spend so much time doing political analysis."

I thought it was a bit shocking how O'Reilly prefaced one question about 2/3 of the way through with "you weren't prepared for the job" (the Presidency), but other than that, I started thinking towards the end how some have said that O'Reilly has toned down the rhetoric the last few years, and what it would have been like if Hannity was running the interview:

    Hannity:

Mr. President, when did you start believing in communism?
    Why do you hate America?
Why won't you show us your birth certificate?
    Do you hate white people?
What would you say to people who say that you're a weak president?
Have you ever thought about becoming a Muslim?
