Hello to everyone. I figured i might as well write up a little introduction before i go gallivanting off to have some fun. So here we go.
I'm of the opinion that life is one great adventure and learning from each other is a major part of that adventure. I've been semi-nomadic my entire life, which has left me with a severe disability (i am now unable to live in the same place for more than two years without getting antsy and i lose all sanity by the third year; i can't even go three months without rearranging my furniture). The good news is that this lifestyle has also left me with an innate desire to learn and try to understand other perspectives- even those that strongly conflict with my own views.
Obviously, i have a strong interest in politics and international affairs, but that interest actually stems from my background in anthropology, linguistics, and history. Aside from being a huge nerd, i'm also kinda jockish and would much rather spend my time climbing or hiking than going to the movies.
And that's me in a nutshell. I figure that's probably all you guys need to know about me to understand what makes my brain tick. At any rate, i look forward to meeting and chatting with you all.
