Small Example of Failed Government and Failed Liberalism

I was watching Animal Planet's Infested and they showed the story of this one man who had a squirrel infestation in a home he just bought. He caught the squirrels early on while they had just started breeding, but the government of Missouri's conservation laws would not allow him to kill the squirrels while they were breeding, so he had to try other means (which ultimately failed). Bad went to worse as the squirrels chewed up all the cables in his home making the home a fire risk. Then his son contracted an infection from exposure to the squirrels and had to be taken to the hospital and his life was threatened by the infection.

The man wrote a plea to allow him to kill the squirrels in his home and his request was denied. The man took action and poisoned them anyway. Here's a video clip:

I think this is a prime example of (1) failed government. How do you let a man's house potentially get burned down and his family get life threatening diseases from squirrels, rather than kill the squirrels. Even if you didn't give a shit about him or his family, how long could a situation like that persist anyway? Even if the man and his family died, the house is eventually going to burn to the ground with only animals habitating it and it still being fully functional. All your little fucking furry friends will be dead too.

This is also an example of failed liberalism. You should obviously be allowed to kill squirrels if they are biting you and your family and overruning your house!!!

I was watching the show and thinking to myself: I can see why some people really hate liberals.

"When I entered Republican politics during an earlier period of malaise, in the late seventies and early eighties, the movement got most of the big questions -- crime, inflation, the Cold War -- right. This time, the party is getting the big questions disastrously wrong."

"In the aftershock of 2008, large numbers of Americans feel exploited and abused. Rather than workable solutions, my party is offering low taxes for the currently rich and high spending for the currently old, to be followed by who-knows-what and who-the-hell-cares. This isn't conservatism; it's a going-out-of-business sale for the baby-boom generation."

"This is just ridiculous. I never thought as an economist I would have to spend so much time doing political analysis."

You are indeed correct, Mr. Du Bois.

Have you ever wondered why liberals think and behave the way they do?

Here is why they think and behave the way they do! Please notice how small the "commonn sense" part of their brain actually is!

    Ha-Ha!
