That doesn't match the description of most political forums, it sounds more like the comments section of a news website. I think trading off-topic one liners is pretty useless, but there's a website for every kind of dialogue.

Well W.E.B. you need to get out more, you seem to be a little lonely in here. There are very fast moving political forums out there, you just gotta live a little.

Occupy appears to be little more than entertainment news now. They're almost at the level of Rick-rolling. Media accounts make them look more like a nuisance than an actual political movement.

Yeah, I think a lot of that had to do with winter setting in and being cold out. As the German officer on the Eastern front used to say; "Wait until the spring offensive!"

Your description of the Egyptian protests is very flawed. What about Tahrir Square? Tahrir Square is the symbol of the Egyptian Revolution and that was an outdoor protest.

Look at the picture you posted, do you think you could organize that mess without the internet? Yes, it was an outdoor protest, but it was organized with the use of the internet.

Occupy is a failure due to the reasons I've mentioned:

* They're a movement named Occupy Wall Street which seems to occupy anywhere but Wall Street
* Their tactics suck
* They have no leadership
* They have no organization
* They have no platform

Their problems go far beyond bad timing.

The movement is not over. Your list looks more like why the Tea Party failed so miserably. Don't you remember, the Tea party was proud that they didn't have a platform or a leader. So, now where are they?
