The original song by Mariah was one of my all time favorites, however the new version has been panned by the critics. I couldn't even make it through the whole video. The age gap was absurd, and Mariah is too old for what she's trying to do here, then there's the awkwardness of the opening scene, the singing duet sounded all wrong and the tempo was too fast. Was this a disaster of epic proportions?
I imagine Odysseus or Agamemnon setting their face into the wind, with a caption that reads I will set out on the most epic failure that will be told for generations!!!!
