As a U.S. American it is difficult for me to conceive of any other economic system besides Capitalism. Perhaps the temptation to dichotomize is an obstacle. But the more populous we become and the greater the strain on natural resources with greater disparity between those who have a lot and those who have little, the more I'm compelled to wonder whether Capitalism as I know it today is ultimately doomed if humanity is to survive and thrive with Liberty and Justice for all.

I'm not advocating for anything in particular. I just think this is an interesting subject to talk about.
