This thing is a waste of money.

Mission: Land attack, offense and self-defense in coastal waters
Cost: $3 billion per unit
Special Features: Stealth
Armament: 155mm long range (83 miles) cannon, Tomahawk Cruise Missile, Standard 3 missiles, and Evolved Sea Sparrow
Displacement: 12,000 tons

The government will be building 3 of these ships due to funding constraints. They cost about three times as much as a regular Arleigh Burke guided missile destroyer, I believe.

I really think this thing is a white elephant. It's the next generation of Iowa class battleship and it's totally unnecessary. The only thing this thing is good for is its long range cannons, and we don't even need that shit now that we have stealth drones that can fly off of Navy carriers. What a waste of money.
