Handle is premiere, location is Michigan, registered Republican voter.
I was googling around for political forums and came upon this one. My first exposure to online forums was in the form of video game related sites. I've always been interested in politics but most of the forums I've seen are communities of atheists where there the discussion always seems to involve religion and the regular members don't disagree about anything, just a hate-fest.
Since this is a political forum I should clarify my leanings. As stated above I am a registered Republican voter here in Michigan although I decry the far right evangelical arm of the party. I'm a Republican because I believe in a small Federal Government, I believe in States rights, and am a fiscal conservative. On most social issues you'll likely find me to be quite liberal thinking so perhaps I might be described as a compassionate conservative? Don't know if there's a label that fits.
Anyhow, I look forward to reading and posting in the future.
