I disagree. I am indifferent to any suffering inflicted on Gaddafi.



You equated the rebels to Gaddafi: "In my mind, that makes the rebels murderers...just as much as he was."

That and your other statements are a complete condemnation of the rebels. To equate the two diminishes the suffering of the Libyan people under Gaddafi. To diminish the suffering of the Libyan people, while deploring the suffering of a war criminal is a standard that the Libyan people are subhuman. If their suffering is relatively unimportant, then they must be subhuman, since it is humans who are important. To contend that the Libyan people are subhuman is racial discrimination.



It is a lie to contend that I insulted you. If you would like to talk about how you feel you've been insulted and how you feel that your time in this forum will be extremely limited, you can open up a new thread and do that on this forum:

I find most of your comments to be dishonest and your equating of the Libyan rebels to Gaddafi to be disgusting and racist.

There is no "possibility" for reasoned and polite discussion here, it's a guarantee. Reasoned and polite discussion is not what you seek though. What you seek is to be shielded from disagreement. For that, you'll have to create your own blog and disable the comments section.

In the future I will be sending out periodic e-mails to all members. This can be disabled upon receipt of such e-mail by each member. A good thing to keep in mind.
