So I was on Google's news aggregator and I saw this title:

"Map of Arab Rage: Imperialism in the making?"

The "news" source: Russia Times. Only dumb asses push this theme of US imperialism for any event that happens around the world.

So let's get to the lies.

Multiple lies within the first minute:

Lie 1: They put up the comments of an American "political commentator" who I've never heard of and they don't mention what journal, think tank or news organization she's part of. She could just be some idiot they met at a coffee shop.

Lie 2: This "political commentator" and the narrator imply that the US is putting "their man into power in Libya." This is a lie on so many levels. First of all there is no "man" on the rebel side. The "man" is the Transitional National Council, which is made up of several dozen people.

Secondly, the US has hardly tried to put them in power. The US has NOT EVEN RECOGNIZED our "man". France, Italy, Qatar, the Gambia have. We have not. How do you put a man into power and you don't even recognize him? Blatant lie.

Lie 3: They go on to say that the Libyans want no Western intervention or "meddling" I believe is the term they used. The Libyans have been begging us at every turn for intervention. They are begging us for intervention right now as we speak. Not only do the Libyan politicians want this, but the very Libyan rebels who are fighting ask for more air strikes. They say to go ahead and hit the civilian casualties, so long as we get more aggressive. After France bombed Gaddafi's convoys outside of Benghazi on the first night of the war, there were fireworks over Benghazi. Complete and utter lie.

Lie 4: The piece goes on and on blaming the United States for our evil ways, but aren't there other countries in the world besides the US? I have a question, since this is the Russia Times how about we ask WHAT IS RUSSIA DOING TO HELP THINGS?

Question not asked on Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain. Plenty of criticism for the US over those countries though.

Lie 5: The piece ends in an amazing way. The Libyan revolution is deemed a "failure" by Russia and the revolutions in Egypt, Tunisia and the current revolution in Yemen are portrayed as negatives, bad things. Go down to Benghazi and say that. Go down to Tahrir Square in Egypt and say that. I dare you to, Russian Times.

Go pick up your daily disinformation papers from the Politburo, comrade. Get the lies before they turn cold.
