I found this to be a big story. The media is framing this currently as a Sanchez fired for calling Stewart a bigot story, but that's not what got him. It's this comment:
I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.
If you listen a bit more in context, it appears that Sanchez was implying that CNN is run by Jewish people. I listened to the whole 20 minute interview. It's a shame because actually I think Sanchez was trying to really speak the truth (from his point of view) and he has been cut down for it.
The last three minutes of the interview are golden and really impressed the hell out of me.
